Wang Yuanyuan has joined CICC (China Intercontinental Communication center) in 1994. She first worked as program editor in the technical department of CICC. In 2000, she transferred to the Film &TV department and began to work as a director. She had worked as a content editor to look after a TV block China in Change, which was on air by CCTV, from 2000 to 2004. Wang Yuanyuan joined the International department of CICC in 2004.
