In 2006, host Mary Windishar came to Beijing to film the preparations of the 2008 Olympic Games, showing the American audiences the various aspects of the preparatory work concretely and vividly. In 2007, Mary will return to Beijing, and expound the ready material conditions of the Beijing Olympics compared with that of the previous year.

From the visual angle and starting with the details, the programs pay attention to characters and story lines, explaining the progress of the Olympic projects and narrating the changes to China brought about by the Olympic Games. It is planed to divide the series into 13 episodes, each introducing one or two aspects of the preparatory work, with the contents including the location of the games, the communications establishment, the Olympic village and the catering logistics, the media center, traffic conditions, hotels and tourism, entertainment establishment, security defense, environmental protection, the Olympic mascot and mementoes and so on. Interviews will be carried out with the officials, experts, project participants and ordinary citizens and so on, transmitting the enthusiasm of the Chinese people for the Olympics and telling the world that the 2008 Beijing Olympics will be a wonderful pageant.
